Abstract: The Best Practices Committee, on behalf of the now disbanded Information Technology Resources Board (ITRB), is pleased to issue this report on the diminishing pool of skilled IT workers.

The ITRB was asked to look at the growing concern in industry and government over the diminishing pool of skilled IT workers. This report shares recommendations on how the government could address the loss of workers generally thought of as "managers of managers" and "managers of contracts."
